🚢 Important Update for Exporters & Trade Partners

Due to the ongoing geopolitical tensions and war conditions in the Middle East, global shipping routes have been significantly disrupted. Many shipping lines have suspended bookings and some Gulf region ports are facing operational challenges. As a result, several export shipments are currently stuck at terminals, Container Freight Stations (CFS), and container yards. To support exporters and reduce port congestion, Indian Customs at Nhava Sheva has introduced a special procedure for “Back to Town (BTT)” movement of export cargo where the Export General Manifest (EGM) has not been filed. Under this relaxation, exporters can request BTT from the concerned customs authorities. Containers at CPP will be cleared based on e-seal verification, while containers at CFS will undergo limited inspection after destuffing, without full physical examination. Additionally, BTT-related fees and penalties have been waived. Honest Global Logistics continues to monitor the situation closely and assist clients with shipment planning and logistics support. #LogisticsUpdate #GlobalTrade #ExportAdvisory #ShippingIndustry #SupplyChain #FreightForwarding #ExportImport #MiddleEastTrade #ShippingDisruption #InternationalTrade #PortOperations #CustomsUpdate #JNPT #TradeFacilitation #CargoMovement #Exporters #ContainerLogistics #GlobalLogistics #TradeNews #HonestGlobalLogistics
